Changes For Your Safety
Govenor Inslee has mandated that masks be worn at all times while indoors and in situations where yourself and another person cannot maintain the required social distancing of 6ft between themselves and another person. Our doors will remain locked during business hours until further notice and only those with appointments will be admitted into the building. We are asking that you call us when you arrive so we can do a portion of our check-in process over the phone to limit the amount of time you have to spend in our office.
Clean, Efficient Eyecare
Here at 20/20 Eyecare Center we are doing our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and any other illness. We are taking extra precautions in each office during this time as well. Beyond our normal cleaning and disinfecting between patients, we have increased the disinfecting of high traffic areas such as door handles, counter tops, and all equipment used during eye exams. All our staff, including doctors, are continuing to wash their hands between patients. We are also continuing to see patients one at a time to reduce group sizes.
Temporary Precautions & Protocols
If you do have to come into the office, we are asking that you limit the number of people you bring with you to one person only if necessary. Everyone who enters the office, patient or otherwise, is required to wear a face mask. We are doing our part to limit the number of people in the office, so you may be asked to wait outside or in your car until it is time for your appointment and we are asking that any other family or friends wait in the car. If that is the case, we will either call or text you when it is your turn. At the moment we are not accepting new patients unless it for emergent reasons.
For glasses pick up, our optical department is available by appointment only for those with a valid prescription. All optical appointments will be limited to 20 minutes to ensure we are maintaining proper patient flow. We are also continuing to offer curbside pickup for contacts and glasses, as well as complimentary shipping to your home. We ask that you give the office a call when you’ve arrived and let us know what vehicle to look for. If you have a balance, payments can be made over the phone.
Until we are told otherwise, we will continue to see patients and will do our best to meet every patient’s needs. If you are experiencing any cold, flu like, and respiratory symptoms, we ask that you call to reschedule your appointment or postpone coming into the office until you are completely asymptomatic.

When entering our office, we ask that you check in with the front desk and either immediately utilize the hand sanitizer we have available or wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water. At our offices, we have eliminated handshakes to further help with the prevention of illness, so you will also be noticing a bit more distancing between patients and staff whenever possible.
