Dr. Denise Iversen spent most of her childhood in eastern and western
Idaho and her summers with extended family in western Washington. In
1997, she graduated with honors from Boise State University with a
Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She later graduated from Pacific
University's College of Optometry in 2001.
In 2003, Dr. Iversen and her husband returned to the state of Washington
to establish their careers in healthcare and make the south Puget Sound
their forever home. Dr. Iversen joined 20/20 Eyecare Centers in 2007 and
then again in 2021, after spending time with her young children at home.
Dr. Iversen, along with the support of her co-workers, strives to give a
thorough eye exam and also provide the patient with a clear understanding
of their ocular conditions. She enjoys getting to know her patients and
their visual needs to provide the best possible options for obtaining great
vision.
Dr. Iversen is especially passionate about providing vision therapy to
patients of all ages to help improve eye teaming and focusing abilities.
She also has special interest in pediatric vision and contact lenses.
In her free time, Dr. Iversen and her husband enjoy spending time with
their three children exploring the Pacific Northwest.
She is currently seeing patients at our Auburn and Port Orchard Clinics.
